Help my iphone has frozen, there is no display, the display is blank, screen has gone black, my iphone just vibrates when i press the power button there is no display, what do i do?

Solution: -

Step 1. Don't Panic

Solution 1
Make sure that the phone is charged. If not sure then plug into the power connector and wait at-least for 3 minutes. The phone will show a battery display and should start automatically. If you press the power button long button it will show you something like this -

Once it has got plenty of charge it will turn on the phone and it work as normal and should look like this.

Solution 2

If the phone does not turn on even after that then unplug the phone from the charger. Press the home button(at the bottom of the screen) and the power button (top of the phone) together for 10 - 15 sec until u feel a vibration or a display comes on the phone.

If you get a display, your phone is back on track and if you feel a vibration and still there is no display give it some time on the charger and then try again.

If this does not work..... Now Panic!!
Don't worry there is another solution.. the last and final!!




Solution 3 (Do not try this first as you might end up loosing the data on your phone) Recovery Mode or DFU Mode

Connect your phone to the USB cable and plug it into the computer (laptop/desktop) which should have iTunes installed in it.

If you don't have it then please go to the following link - http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ 
It should automatically detect what kind of Operating System you have (Windows or Mac). Just click on download now and iTunes should start downloading.
If you already have a computer which you sync or take a backup of your phone, please connect it to the same computer (there is a very good reason behind this - YOUR DATA)
Once you have connected your iPhone to the computer, make sure that iTunes is open on the computer. Now press the home and power button together for approx 10 sec and then release the power button.

You will hear a distinct beep from the computer or a pop up message will come up on the screen which says -

Once you click on ok it will ask you if you would like to recover the iPhone. Just click on Recover iPhone and the process of recovering your iPhone will start.
 And hopefully your phone should start.
